2026 PA Cider Fest

PA Cider Fest is back! On June 13, the South Mountain Fairgrounds in the heart of Adams County apple country will once again play host to one of the country’s premier cider festivals. Set against the scenic backdrop of the historic South Mountain Fruit Belt, the festival runs from 1–4 PM (with VIP entry at 12 PM) and will feature:

Fabulous ciders from an array of urban and orchard-based—approximately 100 to choose from!
The VIP hour gets you early access, exclusive pours and VIP only workshops
Cider check is back! Purchase all your favorite ciders and pick them up at the gate on the way out
Educational seminars are available all day to up your cider IQ
Great food trucks and a marketplace of incredible vendors on site
A stage in the shade will feature local bands performing live all day
The event is rain or shine, with lots of covering and shade across the grounds
Bring your own tents and lawn chairs!

Participating cider makers are also invited to a Cider Maker Dinner on June 12 from 6-9 PM at South Mountain Fairgrounds — a great opportunity to connect and network before the festivities begin. There is no fee to participate, and a portion of proceeds will benefit the Pennsylvania Cider Guild.

As the world’s largest cider competition, GLINTCAP draws over 1,000 international, commercial, and noncommercial entries each year to Grand Rapids. What sets it apart isn’t just the prestigious awards — it’s the competition’s commitment to elevating cider as a category by providing entrants with meaningful, expert feedback from some of the most experienced and celebrated palates in the industry.

Mark your calendars! On April 19, Ploughman Cider plans to host an industry event at their new cider bar, Pip’s, in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood — and it comes with an exciting twist. Modeled after the English ‘Big Apple’ competition, the event will feature a statewide cider competition open to PA producers.

Participating cideries will bring a gallon of their best cider, which will be transferred to identical growlers to ensure blind judging. Entrants will each cast one vote for their favorite, and a “People’s Choice” category is also in the works.
